The Longview Project
The Longview Project is located on a parcel of land overlooking the Big Creek Valley in North Arkansas. The property includes old growth forests, bluffs, meadows, living spaces and a large open floor plan home ideal for gatherings.
The Longview Cabin is a guest cabin available for rental. All proceeds from the rental of the cabin support purchase of the land and furthering of the Longview project.

The property includes the Red House which features an open floor plan with a large kitchen, ideal for community gathering. The additional property with the house was purchased by Buffalo River Arts and a community member in 2019. Donations support purchase of this property as well as ongoing renovation and maintenance. The original Pendergraft house has been empty for a few years, but the house has sound bones, a solid metal roof, and is in good condition. Buffalo River Arts is raising funds to develop the property as an event space to serve the community and visitors to Newton County.
The view from the Red House includes a pond and the wider view into the valley below. This property is a diamond in the rough, with potential to become a community asset and source of income to sustain the property and support programs into the future.
